Stimulus Response

Stimulus Response was recorded at Trudie Studios in Rockaway Beach in late 2024. It includes many songs that Melanie wrote while training as a therapist, weaving in themes from psychological theory.

The album moves between love and grief, rage and making amends, fumbling toward intimacy and befriending the unconscious. Stimulus Response debuts the band’s fuller rock registers while preserving Horse Radish’s original folk intimacy.
